Work
Aesthetics
Looks can matter. Smith Lubke Structural Design excels at understanding architectural visions and challenges. From conceptual design through construction, consideration to the architecture is factored into the structure.
Performance
Understanding how a building performs is key to a successful design. Working with each project team, Smith Lubke Structural Design endeavors to understand expectations of each project and tailors every design to best meet these needs.
Constructability
Smith Lubke Structural Design understands that the design we produce is only effective if it can be built. The company works with the project team to identify possible construction challenges and seeks structural solutions to simplify those challenges.
Services
Smith Lubke Structural Design provides structural solutions for the built environment, from conceptual design through the final constructed product.
Our core service is to provide a design that meets or exceeds current building code requirements to insure life safety.
Beyond the basic safety considerations, Smith Lubke Structural Design takes into account performance, economics, aesthetics, and constructability of each project. These four requirements are balanced to align with the project objectives.
Smith Lubke excels at nurturing open working relationships with each project team so the project objectives can be discussed and understood by everyone involved. The company strives to make the structural design a component that enriches the overall project.
Julie Smith Lubke is currently licensed in Washington and California. Her work portfolio also includes projects in Alaska, Montana, Oregon, and Hawaii. Additional state licenses can be acquired on project specific basis.
